After their 2013 debut at DSD we’ve been counting down the days to their return. Yes Maze & Masters are heading back to the Ohso Social decks this Friday and we are so excited only a quickie with London’s finest girl DJ duo would keep us happy while we wait till Friday night. Oooo ladies. We love ya!
Style of music played? Sun drenched blissed out house music with deep vibes and jackin moments
What can the DSD clubbers expect from your set? We don’t know yet, as we take each minute as it comes but it’s safe to say they can hear upfront sounds with a nostalgic twist, all set to tug on the heart strings
Why is clubbing in Brighton so special? Brighton is never never land, everyone has a perpetual air of adventure about them and just wants to have a good time. For us, it’s about a group of friends coming together to live for the moment, and hope it lasts forever
So why DSD? Well of course AJ and his giant ball of disco glittering above the beautiful Brighton beach , on which we have spent many a year djing, skinny dipping and lighting fires. But it’s also about the anticipation of summer, when Brighton feels like a festival every single day.
DSD is all about summertime – what summer plans have you got going on this year? We have the best summer yet planned and we are really excited. In July we are playing Secret Garden Party, August is Brighton Pride, Circuit Festival Barcelona, Fierce Angel Kuala Lumpur, and September is the mighty Bestival!
Dirty or Disco? Dirty. Dark nightclubs with sweat dripping from the ceiling and underworld beats pumping out of the front doors with the smoke are our second home
Sunset or sunrise? Both. They’re the magic hour, a time of promise …”In a place where we can make it happen, where impossible is possible, and I kinda like it, and I want it, sure feels good to me…”
DSD with Maze & Masters, Queen Josephine and David Ethics. Friday 27th June. 8pm-2am. Ohso Social, Kings Road Arches, Brighton. Find us on Facebook.
